Vento di Sardegna to race in YCCS “50th Anniversary Regatta”

Days of great celebration for the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, which cut the prestigious finish of the 50 springs.

In addition to the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and the Rolex Maxi 72 World Championship, scheduled until September 9, the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda celebrates its birthday with a regatta in honor of its fifty years. The event will be a true sailing festival in an archipelago where all Club races took place for half a century. The competition is open to all sailboats over 20 feet in possession of a certificate of tonnage.

Vento di Sardegna, the Open 50 by Andrea Mura, the winner of the Ostar 2017, could not miss this occasion. Also on board the YCCS Commodore, Riccardo Bonadeo, and Secretary General Jan Pachner, who will race with the Sardinian sailor, who is – let’s remember – a sports member of the Yacht Club itself.

“It is an honor and a pleasure to participate in this celebratory event – says Andrea Mura – the Yacht Club embodies the sport spirit of the sailing world and contributed a lot to the competitions. We will assemble together with Commodore Bonadeo and Jan, old-time friends. “
